Happy Early Fathers Day to James. Here is his new toy. His plan is to use it on the one night of the week when he has to cook. It is going to be a yummy summer.

Sleepover
We hosted our first sleepover with Amelia last night. Pretty successful other than the waking time. The girls were not all asleep until 9:45 and they were up at 5:45. I know there will be some tired girls today. Here they are pretending to be asleep at 5:45.

Happy Birthday James
Today is the birthday of someone very special to the us Johnson girls. We want to say a big Happy Birthday to the best father and husband in the world. There is no one better suited to deal with the challenges that the three of us present. We are lucky enough to have this great man in our lives. Happy Birthday Love!
Baseball, ect
Cyan started her baseball season today. I forgot the camera but we were really impressed with the coach. Very knowledgeable and great with kids.
Plus I would like to thank the very kind people who turned in my purse to the lost and found. You saved my life. Work cell phone, office keys, badge to get into the courthouse. Not items I want to explain to my new boss that I lost.

Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend it rained, rained, and rained. The Johnson's took a walk in our neighborhoood. When we set out it seemed like we would be safe for the walk and about half way through we were proven wrong. We were stuck in a complete downpour at least 1 mile from home. Olivia rode her bike and James ended up having to push her to get her home. The rest of us just ran.
But during a break in the rain Morgan and I took the girls golfing. It was pretty fun although I am happy no one was behind us. Here is a pic:

Goulds
The Goulds were in town visiting for the weekend. We were so lucky that they were able to come for lunch today. Here are the girls getting ready for the rain.
Baby birds
Our little baby birds left the nest. We saw them throughout the day all around our yard. Here is a pic of one:
Difference
Here is the difference between my two children. They got in trouble and were sent to their rooms. I took them a PB&J for dinner but they were to remain in time out. Cyan was so upset at she hid under her covers and fell asleep. Olivia on the other hand spent the time singing and playing. Plus somehow she got peanut butter on the window and jelly on the curtain and her puppy. Then came out of time out about a dozen times to tell me the additional things she did that she could be in trouble for.
AAAGGGHHHH!!!!

Field Day
Today was Field Day at Cyan's school. Olivia and I went to help, watch, and play. The first order of business was a little ceremony to introduce the new name of the school. It is now Evans International. The change was doen to recognize the new IB status. Cyan was chosen to be the kid to let the doves out of the cages.
After this Field Day started. They moved it inside because of the threat of rain. Olivia was invited to join right in. She participated just like she was a Kindergardner. First was tug of war. Then plenty of other games. After the games were all done they had hot dogs for everyone. Here are the pics.

This is Kyle. He has had a crush on Cy since the first day of school. I bet this made his day. However, our Cyan is oblivious to his crush not that he has not told her just that she is not into that stuff yet.

Nest
We have a bird's nest at our house this year. We were watching the Momma Robin and now we are lucky enough to have baby robins. We have enjoyed watching them. Especially when we get to see the Momma bring a worm back. Cute.
Announcement
I just want to announce that I got the job. I am now the Community Corrections Coordinator for this county. Yay for me.

Breakfast
Today for Breakfast, Olivia asked for a PB&J sandwich, blueberries, and tater tots. I wonder if James gave her that.

Incline
James and I did the incline again Saturday morning. We picked another rainy misty day. At one point I touched the top of my head and it was soaking. I thought there is no way I am that sweaty. Then I figured out it was from the mist. James made it to the top in 42 minutes and my time was 52 minutes.
This is a pic more towards the bottom. That is James ahead of me.
BBQ
Joy, who hosts the best parties, had a BBQ on Friday night. There was a ton of food, great company and the kids went wild playing.
Here are the pics.

Wild Wild West Fest
We took a family day to Pueblo and went to the Wild Wild West Fest. It was pretty cool. It was in connection with the PBR and there was lots of bill-riding and cowboy stuff.

Here are the pics.
Olivia by some kind of African cow.
Cyan by the same cow.
I forget this bulls name but he is a PBR one.
Cyan on the mechanical bull.
Olivia on the mechanical bull.
Us on a paddleboat. We chased the geese around the little lake.
We watched some team roping.
James and the girls making funny faces.

Pickles
Olivia knows that Grandpa Snowball does not eat pickles. Well she came to me yesterday and said "Grandpa Snowball doesn't eat pickles because they make you die, but that is ridiculous because they are delicious." I guess we know which side of the Great Pickle Debate she falls on.

Mother's Day Brunch
This morning to celebrate Mother's Day the 4 Johnson's went with my Mom, Ike, Morgan, Phil, and Amelia to brunch. We ate at the Olive branch. The food was great and we had some great laughs.
After brunch we went to the nursery and I picked out my tomato plants for my new garden.

Olivia is 4
Happy Birthday to my dear, sweet, wild Olivia.

Here are some things about Olivia. I guess I write these down so that I don't forget them.
She calls a runny nose a blowsey nosey. She calls arm pits arm pots. She calls lettuce salad even though I tell her it is lettuce.
When I catch her sucking her thumb she pretends that she is itching her nose. She eats a taco by dumping it out, breaking the shell in 2, eating the inside and then maybe eating the outside. She eats a corndog the same way. She eats Oreos by opening them, licking out the filling, then stacking all the cookies together (like all 6 halves) and then eats them like that. She eats chapstick. She eats anything to include blue cheese, pickled ginger, sushi, all fruits and vegetables and even non-food items. She does not like ice cream.
She loves her Puppa more than anything. She has lost him twice in Wal-mart. Once he was found and once we issued a replacement. She used to stick the tag of her Puppy up her nose, before that she put it in her eye, before that she twisted it in her fingers when she sucked her thumb. She refers to anytime in her life prior to today as when she was a baby. I have called poison control so many times I don't want to do it any more for fear they will come knocking. She wants to stay with me forever and never go to school. She gets her ability to antagonize from her father.
Happy Birthday to our little Olivia. We love you!

Mulan
This evening we saw our Niece/Cousin perform in a school play of Mulan. It was pretty cute. I am sure all the teachers, kids and parents put in a lot of work. The play pretty much followed the movie so the kids were familiar with the story line and songs.

Birthday Party
Today was Olivia's Birthday Party. It was held at Artsports. There were lots of little friends and a lot of fun. Here are some pics.
This is Olivia and her first store bought Birthday cake. It was Barbie Diamond Castle.

Cyan jumping doing front and back flips.
Olivia on the rope swing.
Olivia in the foam pit.
Olivia and a very nice present.
