Trick or Treating

Here is a picture of the girls before they headed out on the annual pilgrimage to trick or treat with James.

Carving pumpkins

Here is a picture of the girls carving their pumpkins.  This year it went a little different.  Both girls cleaned out and carved their own pumpkin.

Science Experiments

In honor of Halloween we completed some science experiments.  First, we made worms wiggle with baking soda and vineger.  Second we made cornstarch goo.

Ghosts

The girls made some ghosts to decorate our tree for Halloween.

Creepy Crawl Fun Run

This morning we took the girls to the Creepy Crawl for the 1 mile kids fun run.  They ran so fast and we were so proud.  At the end people made a tunnel for them to run under and they got a medal.

Girl Scout Party

The Girl Scout Troop had a Halloween Party at their meeting.  It was a combo Halloween Party/Birthday Party (for the founder of Girls Scouts).

 Cyan won best costume!

School Parties

Both kids had a Fall Festival party in their classrooms.  The were able to dress up, have snacks, and play games.

Only Olivia

Someone told me I should write these things down.  Perhaps not to emphasize how naughty our Olivia can be but to someday remember who she was...

Olivia came home today with a picture she drew and an order form.  You can pay for the picture to be put on a wide variety of objects.  She wants the dog bowl for her stuffed puppy to eat from.  I explained that I would think about it and reminding she was currently asking for me to buy her a school shirt.  What did my Olivia do...  started sobbing "If puppy doesnt have that bowl he will starve.  He has been starving for a long time".  Then she got to visit her room for a while.

After staying the night with Amelia she was clearly exhausted even after she slept for most of the afternoon.  She realized that she left her toothbrush at Amelias.  She started to cry and said "I have done a very bad thing.  I left my toothbrush at Amelia's".  James tells her it isnt a big deal and no reason to cry and I gave her another toothbrush.  After she brushed to stomped into James, started sobbing all over again and said "You are always mean to me.  You said it wasn't a big deal and it is"

That is our Olivia.

Soccer Extrodinaire

Here are a bunch of soccer photos.

Olivia bought this hat for her Halloween costume and wore it for days.  Plus Roscoe wanted to go to the game until we got there and it was 45 degrees.  Then he wanted to go home.

Doesn't my girls look too little for that huge net?

Fall Break

The past two weeks the girls have been on Fall Break.  James and I took days off work and out of two weeks they only went to daycare one day.  The rest of the time was filled with fun, fun fun.  I forgot to capture pictures of it all - so here is what I missed.  James took the girls to Itz and to the movies.  I also took them to a movie.  The hung out with Grandpa one morning and then got Happy Meals for lunch.

Here is what I got pictures of:

Nature Center with Amelia and Nina
 Glow Golf

 Painting Pumpkins

Packers Fan

Here is our little Packer fan!

Wildcat Award

Olivia was chosen be her teacher to be a Wildcat of the Month (Student of the Month).  Here is her picture and the bulletin board (she is in the bottom right corner).

Pumpkin Patch

We all went to a Pumkin Patch on Columbus Day.  We forgot that is would be colder when we went higher in elevation and nearly froze (ok maybe only the adults froze since the kids ran around so much).
