Wedding Number 2

Since James and I were not married in the Catholic Church we completed the convalidation process.  This is to ensure our marriage is recognized by the Church as a sacramental marriage.  Here are some pictures.

Birthday Party

We attended a birthday party for our neighbor Johnny at Skate City.

School Dance

Cyan and Olivia's school held a dance recently.  Since I am now volunteering with the PTO we arrived early to decorate.  Then the girls (along with Maia-Cyan's best friend) handed out lei's to the guests.

Soccer

The girls are playing soccer this fall and James is even Cyan's coach.  Here are a some pictures from the first two games.

Arent we lucky to live in such a beautiful place.
Wait my girl is too little for that big net.
Look at Cyan's footwork.
It was cold this morning and this is how Roscoe watched the game.

Cyan's School Work

I wanted to share some of Cyan's school work that came home last week.  I thought the first story about 9-11 showed how sweet our little Cyan is.

Sleep

I know I have shown in the blog that Olivia can sleep anywhere but here is another bit of evidence.  She is asleep on the remote control.

State Fair

On Monday, we headed to Pueblo to visit the State Fair.  We met my friend, Athena, and her two girls there.  The 4 girls quickly became good friends and went from ride to ride with each other, even the really big scary rides.  What is even funnier is our children match up almost exactly with the younger sisters being WILD.  We also saw some of the farm animals but spent most of our time on the rides.

I dont think Olivia has ever driven.  She has no idea what to do and spent most of the time spinning around in circles.  Cyan and Samantha were behind.
 Going on a spinning thing.

Add in the hot dogs, cotton candy and snow cones and you have FUN!

Bison

On Sunday we all met in Cripple Creek and decided to spend our day at Lake Bison.  It was a pretty cool time.  We saw bear tracks, climbed rocks, rode the 4-wheeler, tried to find strawberries and played horse shoes.  The bear tracks were awesome but it was pretty cool to hang out with everyone.

This is how high up we were.

Balloon Glow

Since James now has Sundays off he was able to come to the Balloon Glow this year.  Here is a picture of us.

Air Force V South Dakota

The girls and I scored some tickets for Saturday's AFA football game. These games are one of my favorites even though I am not a huge football fan. The best part was the B-1 (I heard someone behind me say that is what it was) bomber that flew overhead. Talk about cool. The plane was not audible at all until it was overhead and then there are few louder sounds. Awesome, proud to be an American kind of sound!

Balloon Launch

Well the Ballon Launch for the annual Colorado Springs this morning was a bust... cold and windy.  Too bad I even remembered my camera.
