BBQ

Well I forgot to take any pictures which is too bad since the kids had such a great time but we hosted a BBQ with James' friends from work yesterday with all the kids too.  My kids played the same raindrops game on the trampoline but also the sprinklers and slip and slide.  Add in bikes, ping pong, and rice krispie treats and you have a good time.

Raindrops!

Olivia had her friend from Kindergarten over to play this afternoon.  I was chatting with Arianna's mom when the kids burst through the door soaking wet.

They made up some games on the trampoline.  One was raindrop, where you spray the hose into the air and the drops fall down and get soaking wet.  Then they did limbo with the water spray where you went under but also hopped over.

Here are some pics:

The end to thumbsucking!!!!!

We finally ran out of options with Olivia's thumbsucking.  The dentist just installed the "device".  We made it through the first night without much of a problem.  I made it a point to wear her completely out before bedtime and I sure the benedryl didnt hurt either.

Here  is what it looks like:

Cyan's New Bike

Cyan was lucky enough to recieve a new bike from her Dad.  She had been eyeing a mountain bike ever since James took his out and showed tricks to the neighborhood kids.  She thought the old bike was babyish and was ready to move on.

Here she is:

Father's Day

We had a big day planned to celebrate Father's day.  We started at Spring Spree just to see what was there.  Then we headed to the Sky Sox game.  The game was really busy and very hot.  We got stuck in soem long lines, first to get in and then for the .25 cent hot dogs.  While the kids and I waited for the hot dogs we enjoyed a snow cone to cool off.  Then we stuffed our faces with hot dogs.  After that we even watched some baseball.

Here is a pic of James and the girls at the game:

Circus

We made our annual trip to the circus.  Before the circus they have access to the animals and for the first time we checked it out.  The coolest part was the tigers.  The keepers were spraying a water hose in the cage and the tigers were playing in it.  The actual circus was VERY good this year too.

Olivia has a birthday present that finally was able to be played with today.

Wedding

And then the big day arrived. Here are some photos.

Grooms Cake

Rehersal

The wedding of the century was this weekend.  We started the celebration on Friday morning with brunch hosted by a bridesmaid at the Flying Horse (very fancy).  The brunch was lovely along with the company of my sister in laws.

Shortly after brunch the rehersal started and a dinner hosted by another bridsmaid.  The dinner was also very nice.  I love that there are plenty of kids for my girls at these events.
