Cyan freak out

We drove with Morgan and her kids to Cripple Creek to see Grandma Kitty and Grandpa Ike.  Nina licked a balloon and then threw it at Cyan.  It was even funnier that Cyan freaked out trying to not let the balloon touch her.  She had actual tears in her eyes... priceless.

Great Pumpkin Run

This is our last race of the series which is the first series we have ever participated in.  It was a lot of fun to have these races to look forward to and I bet we will be doing it again next year.  The kids were also able to sign up for a kids race and they received a pumpkin for participating.

I should mention that it was freezing cold and this pic show that Olivia had lost interest long before it was her turn to race.

Kids race

The Pikes Peak Road Runners puts on a kids series of races that are free to participate in.  So why not right...

Olivia before she starts
Olivia finishing (her race was 1/2 mile)
Cyan finishing (her race was 3/4 mile)

Birthday party

The girls were invited to a birthday party for an old neighbor.  Oddly enough my wild child doesn't like to roller skate.

Spoiled dog

It is getting a little chilly in our house in the morning and Roscoe is not a big fan of that change.  Here is how he prefers to be wrapped up.
Plus we taught him to play football but he can barely fit the ball in his mouth.

Karate belt testing

The girls have been participating in karate/mixed martial arts all summer long.  They received an invitation to test for the next belt color.  They both passed and now Cyan is a yellow belt and Olivia a white/yellow.

Park Celebration

The girls and I went to the El Paso County Parks Celebration.  There were a bunch of fun activities including a petting zoo and making huge bubbles.  Here are some pictures:
