I am wanting to paint the downstairs. I have tried about 10 colors of paint and have not found one that I liked. I have decided that it will have to be one of these two basically because I want this job to be done already. So help me out. Vote which one you think is best, top or bottom:

Family Fun Night

Morgan told us about a Family Fun Night at First Presbyterian. We have participated in many First Pres activities and love them all. It was a good time. Here are the girls doing a cake walk, decorating a cookie, making a necklace and playing in the grass after dinner.

Fall

Fall is coming a little early around here. It felt a whole lot like winter last week and that was terrible. Here is proof:

Back to School Blast

Olivia's school had a Back to School Blast last night. There were cookies, projects and a science experiement. Olivia was pretty excited to show us her school in fact, she was jumping off the walls excited. Olivia's teacher Ms. Sanja said that she was very sweet, participated in all the activities and enjoys playing with all the kids. Ms. Sanja showed us her journal where they do lots of their writing work. We were very impressed with what she was doing.

30 Again

It was my birthday on Friday. James had the kids pick out a cake and a card for me. He really thought he was slick. He picked out a card and candles that said "30". Well the problem is I am thirty one this year. Cute though!!!

To celebrate my birthday we went out for dinner Friday night then went home and played Battleship. On Saturday we went to the Happy Apple Farm and picked apples. We were shocked that Cyan found apples that she liked. She ate a bunch there and has continued. Shocking. I made apple butter with our bounty too.

Zoo

The grand kids and their mothers met Grandma Kitty at the zoo today. It was a really fun time. Even the rain did not slow us down. And thankfully the girls were able to get their cotton candy.

Balloons again

Then we went back in the morning to try to catch them lifting off. We did! It was fun to see them dip in the lake.

Thankfully, I think we are done with the balloons for this year.

We went to the Balloon Classic early Saturday only to not see any balloons take off. The inflated but did not launch. Here are some pics.

The Leonards are back!!

Yeah, we are so happy to have Brad, Vanessa and thier crew back. They stopped by 2 nights in a row. The first we just visited. The second night there was a fire and smores. Brian and Stacey come and brought some yummy ice cream and Jen and Dom stopped by too. The old Traces Lane gang together again...
