First day of school!!

Well we just dropped the kids off for the first day of school.  I cannot believe I have a 2nd grader and a Kindergartener.  Time flies.

They were so excited that both were up and dresses at 6:00am.  The drop off went fine and the only tears were from Mom.

Bike ride

We took out first bike ride of the season on Friday morning.  We started at Wal-Mart on 8th st and went to Monument Valley Park then to Acacia Park then to America the Beautiful Park.  The best thing about it was Cyan rode her own two wheeled bike for the whole way.  We forgot to take pictures of the bike ride but here is last park.

Johnson BBQ

On Saturday there was a Johnson BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house.  The guests of honor were James' Aunt Nola, Aunt Lydia, and Uncle Jimmie from San Diego.  Considering we did not leave until 11pm it seems we must have had a good time.

Here are my girls with Cousins Morgen and Hannah, who they adore. Typical Olivia face though.

Baby Nina

After baseball we went to the hospital to meet new baby Nina.  She is pretty cute.  Here are my girls holding her. (Olivia was scared to death)

When Olivia gets a camera

Here is what happens when Olivia gets ahold of the camera.  This is just a sample, there were at least 50 more where this came from.

Last Baseball Game

We had our last baseball game on Saturday.  Olivia has done amazing work this year.  On her final game she hit the coach pitch baseball with ease and the ball even went to the grass.  She also fielded a ball to the first baseman to get an out.  Way to go Olivia!!

Getting her medal from Coach

Cyan is also a really great player.  Her Coach called her slugger and told her that she played first base because she was always in the game and he never had to tell her to pay attention.  Here she is playing first base.

Traces Lane BBQ

We had a Traces Lane BBQ in the garage with our neighbors.

It almost rained out our fire but the master fire starter won that battle.  The kids were thrilled to get smores.

It was a close call for James who was attacked by some native wildlife (ie Dave and Sherry's yard art)
