I was almost scared half to death by this cute little guy as I went out to open the chicken coop.  He was so cute I had to share a picture.

Mothers Day

Leave it to Colorado to have Thundersnow in Mother's Day.  We had to delay departing from Cripple Creek until the snow let up again.

Ms Katy

Ms Katy, a teacher at the girls' school, hosted a party for the kids she knows at her house.  We arrived to these giant horsed pulling a wagon.

Olivia Soccer

Olivia played soccer for her second season and she also had a great coach.  I didnt get any pictures of her playing.  I held out for the last game - by accident.  And then she was not feeling well and didnt play.  So here is her medal.

CYan Volleyball

Cyan tried out volleyball this spring.  It was the first time that she tried it and really improved throughout the season.  Plus the coach was really great and the team were very good at encouraging each other.

Talent Show

Cyan auditioned to be in the talent show this year and she was thrilled when she was chosen to preform.  She sang a Taylor Swift song called "Our Song".  She was very brave to sing in front of 500 students but she did great.  She wasnt nervous and was loud enough to hear.

But the real show was watching her Daddy.  He had a hard time choking back the tears as we prepared for her presentation.  I think he was nervous that she would freeze and that kids might tease her.  He made it through the presentation.

Olivia is 7

Our little wild child Olivia is 7.  We celebrated early in the morning with decorations and presents.

 She was excited to open her gifts.

The gift she had been dreaming of - slushy magic.

For Olivia's birthday party we took 7 little girls to the beauty school for hair and makeup.  You have never seen so many spiral curls in your life.  The looked like Irish dancing girls.
