Cyan's basketball team

Cyan started basketball this winter.  She is really enjoying the team and the coach has been very good.

Sleepover

For Cyan's birthday party she decided on a sleepover.  It was the first that we had ever hosted and there were a total of 9 girls here.  When it ended we all enjoyed the silence for a while.  Nine girls are loud.

Opening presents

8am trampoline (yes neighbors it is 8am and those are 9 screaming little girls - maybe next time you'll think about letting your dogs bark all day and night).  First they all jumped and screamed.  Then some came inside and the rest brought their sleeping bags outside and laid out there for a while.

And then they all went home!  And the grownups breathed a sigh of relief.

Cyan's Birthday

Our sweet little Cyan just turned 9.  She is such an amazing child and we couldnt love her more.  Since we couldnt have her friend birthday party on her birthday we had a little family get together to celebrate our sweet sweet girl.

Second day

This was her snack on the second day.  A much better choice but my favorite part was how she lined them up (its a clementine).

Olivia's snack

The girls have started riding the bus home and I meet them at home.  This is the snack Olivia choose on the first day of this new schedule.  It is a 2-liter of Diet Mt Dew and 6 cookies.  Lovely

Cyan created this contract of being 9 for James and I to sign.  I think it speaks for itself.

Gingerbread Smash

It is our tradition every year to smash our beautiful gingerbread houses to smithereens.  We take them over to the open field and use baseball bats to finish them off.  I would have had more pictures but my camera died after the first picture.

Just Dance

Here is a picture of the kids playing their new video game.  It is really cute to watch their in-sync movements.

The mother of these children should really pay more attention to them at the grocery store.  These children are wildcats.
