We met some friends for rollerskating today. We actually went last week too and the girls were much better this week. I forgot to take many pictures and Olivia had given up before we got to this point.

Baby Shower
This weekend the girls and I threw a Baby Shower for Aunt Morgan. I forgot to take any pictures of the shower but I did get a pic of the cake. My friend Christie makes these beautiful cakes (actually I got cupcakes).
Here they are:
Baseball
This was the first game of the season. It was really something to watch them play. Olivia's game was first and she got a hit from a pitched ball which is huge for her. Then it was Cyan's game. It gets more competitive as they get into older leagues and it is harder as it gets more competitive. It was painful to see Cyan strike out but I was overjoyed when she made plays in the field that got two outs.
Here are the pics I was able to get before the battery died on the camera. I promise there will be more to come.
Olivia playing 2nd shortstop. No real need for out fielders at this age so they just jam all the kids in.
Cyan and her Dad playing catch before Olivia's game.

Zoo
We are getting good use of the annual zoo pass we just bought. With it we bought the sky ride annual pass too. Here are some pics from a visit to the top of the skyride.
Hern Field
There was a dedication of a new statue at Hern Field in Cripple Creek. We all headed up the hill to see it. Once again the weather did not cooperate not only did we survive the rain but hail too.

Park
We were in Denver and tried to go to out favorite park. This is what we got instead:
Rain! Too bad. We will have to go back.
Circus
We have an annual tradition of going to the circus. This year it was a great show, one of the best we have seen. Here are the pics:

First day!
Cyan and Olivia started summer camp today. It is the same company that provides after school care for Cyan at her school so she is used to the set up. However, for Olivia it was a big day because she is at the school with the big kids (I am sure she is the youngest). She must have had a good day because this is what she looked like shortly after we got home. In fact I am not sure she left the couch at all this evening.
