Of course!

On the last day of school Cyan was given this award from her teacher.  I feel it speaks for itself and is completely deserving.

Bike dare devil

Olivia decided to learn to ride her bike on Sunday.  We came home from church and lunch and were sitting outside.  She asked to ride her bike and had had decided that she was not going to be using training wheels any longer.  She went up and down the driveway and then asked to try it out in the road.  I took her into the street and we went up and down once together.  After that she had it down all by herself.  James kept running up and down with her for a couple more trips until she learned the breaks.  After that she had it down pat.  She proved to be James' daughter once again because within 30 minutes she tried to do it without hands.

Zoo

The girls and I planed a trip to the park with our friends, Kristin, Sierra and Caiden.  It was funny because Olivia wanted to push Caiden in the stroller for the whole trip.  I think it was because she is the little sister and never had the chance to push anyone.  Very Cute!

Field Trip

Cyan's class took an end of the year walking field trip to the park.  James dropped by for a little bit and helped the kids make sand piles.  Leave it to James to help Cyan's group win the race because he had a shovel in his car.

Olivia's Graduation

My baby girl graduated kindergarten tonight.  It is just going by too fast but we are very proud of her.

Brad and Megan

Our street hosted a BBQ for some really great neighbors who are moving.  I love our neighborhood.

Party at Ms Katy's

Ms Katy is a Special Ed teacher that is assigned to help two autistic kids in Olivia's class.  Ms Katy (the brave soul) invited all the kindergartenders to her house to ride her horse and make our own stick horses.  It was a blast.

Field Day

Cyan and Olivia celebrated Field Day at their school on Friday.  James and I were both lucky enough to be able to attend.  The had lots of fun games and the weather even cooperated.  Plus it made James' day when the kids in Cyan's class kept saying "We want Cyan's Dad on our team".

Olivia's big accomplishment

Olivia worked hard all year to get chosen for "Wildcat of the Month".  Her worked paid off and she was chosen by her teacher. I could not be more proud of Olivia.  Her teacher says that Olivia always helps the other kids, doesn't chat with the group out of turn, and learned all she needed to this year.

Way to go Olivia!

Cyan's 1st Communion

Our sweet Cyan celebraated her first communion this weekend.  She has worked hard all year to be able to do this.  We are very proud of how hard she studied and how much she learned.

Mother's Day

My Mother's Day started off with a lovely breakfast in bed.  The girls brought me a menu that they wrote with all kinds of options.  I then opened my gifts which we also very lovely.  Cyan made a book of poems in school and most were about her Mom.  They also gave me some flowers in pots that they decorated.  I also was the lucky recipeient of some garden gnomes.  In the afternoon we got a pizza and had a picnic at a hiking spot.  We went on a little hike then had frozen yogurt.

It was a great day with the best kids on the planet.

Here are the pics:

I forgot to take a pic of our picnic but here are the leftovers.
Our neighbors Jen and Dominic went with us.

I asked her to smile pretty and this is what I got.

Olivia's 6th Birthday Party

Olivia had her 6th Birthday Party this weekend.  She choose to have it at our house (no matter what else I suggested).  She wanted a frog theme and I came through with that.  There was pin the tongue on the frog, hopping lily pads (like musical chairs), hidden frogs in the yard, and a frog pinata.  To top it off we had frog cupcakes.

Here are the pictures:

Hopping lily pads which was kind of a disaster because of the wind.  Hilarious though
