On Friday our dear sweet Cyan turned 7. Hard to believe, really.
She went to school and got picked up for a yearly doctor checkup. Then we went and did this to her ears:

Then opened this present, which was some workout clothes and sweatshirts:
She went to school and got picked up for a yearly doctor checkup. Then we went and did this to her ears:We had her favorite bean burritos for dinner at her favorite place Del Taco. Then we came home for cake. These were trick candles but they were no match. Cyan still managed to blow them out. 
The next morning she got dressed in this:
And went to the Y and exercised. When you are 7 you can go with your parents to the cardio room. She learned the rules from the trainer and worked out for 45 minutes. She tried the treadmill, rowing machine, and elliptical. We went swimming for a bit then went here:

Next weekend we are going to take a couple friends for a little party.

holy cow she is so grown up! I miss you guys. I think we should totally start smashing our gingerbread houses instead of just throwing them away...maybe when we have a house again :)
What a great birthday bash. Wish I could have been there. Did you eat the gingerbread house at all? I thought the girls might have had some of the candy.
