This year the kids and I were able to join James at the Annual DOC Pentathlon. What's a Pentathlon you might ask? Basically a SWAT competition. It was pretty cool to see and they great things for kids, mainly a bounce house and tons of prizes.
Here are some pics:
James' team on the obstacle course. You had to climb the lower metal part and then climb up the rope till you touched the top metal part. Cyan completed this obstacle twice once they competition was done.
James taking off on the 1.5 mile run that he was filling in for someone else on. The sleeveless skinny shirts were donated by Correctional Industries to his team but they were the joke of the day.
Cyan and Olivia on the hill watching
James running alongside his team
Cyan finishing the run with her Dad.
James' friend bench pressing his body weight 27 times. Yikes!
Cyan and I on the course.
Cyan and I racing to the end. I won!
